i've noticed the trend and i have to admit it frightens me a little bit. it brings back memories (or maybe nightmares) of the early 90's lol. however, there have been trends in the past (i.e. the revival of leggings) that i swore i would never succumb to and voila! i have leggings in 4 colors. so go figure. i won't knock it, but i'm not sure i like it either. if i see it enough it may grow on me.

Katie's jeans definitely current/elliot. If you like them, you should pick them up now (available at Barneys too) because they'll be sold out come fall.

hahaha I should have kept my jeans from the 80s!!! Yikes...if you can't find this pair or afford them, try vintage resale shops or Salvation Army and get a very similar look for no $.

I'm not sure about the "look" but they are the most comfortable jean I've had on in a very long time. No low-rise which gives me a "muffin-top" but yet they don't look matronly for old people either. I think if you try on, you will be delightfully surprised!
