Can anyone help? Custom fees ect from Greece to US

Good Morning!! I want to purchase an item from a Greece seller on ebay. The item is 500.00 but I don't want to pay much more. Does any one have any idea on how much the extra fees could be? Is there a way I can find out for sure? I know when I purchase from Japan I never pay extra but not sure about Greece.

It depends if the seller is declaring lux goods with value over a certain amount than you will get taxed. I'm sure you can find the amount on the courier site

It really depends how much will the seller declare it. You can work it out with the seller out of eBay and make two invoice and present the only one that is cheaper.

Also, importing high-value items are considered as luxury goods and exclusivity fees are added. VAT also. These exist at least in Cyprus [EE]
