Has anyone ever had their JUC ring resized to a larger size at a Cartier store? I once phoned Cartier and they said that they don't or can't do resizing of this style of ring. Is this true? Has anyone had any experience in this area? I also wonder if I should ask another jeweler (non Cartier) to do this for me.

Ring re-sizing (simple, up to 2 sizes)

The size of your ring may be increased or reduced subject to technical feasibility and creation style. This service is not available for paved creations. Ring re-sizing beyond two sizes may require our reproduction service; more information on reproductions can be found below.

Ring re-sizing services are complimentary the first time within two sizes. Further resizing services begin at $190.

Thank you so much for your response. I'm so happy that it is possible to have my ring finally fit the finger that I wish to wear it on!

Glad to hear this for you. When I bought my JUC ring in Germany (a JUC with pavé at the nail head and point), I was very clearly told by the SA that I COULD re-size it up or down (I even had a witness!). When I went back to have it taken down a size a few months later, the SM said they do NOT resize. Of course, the SA that told me that had left Cartier.

Cartier did put some extra metal into the band of the ring, so it is resized in a way. It fits great now and does not spin. I was at Cartier today in the US and the SA seemed pretty surprised that they did add the metal to the band. Hopefully you will have an easier time resizing up.

Thank you, I hope so too! I knew that they could size down by putting some gold beads on the inside of the band. It's good that your ring fits you properly now.
