I've always love the old world charm of cameo but never came across a real one IRL. Where should I begin looking and what is a reasonable price range? I am looking for hardstone, (cornelian), not glass and of course not those resin poured ones. Prefer pendant but other styles works too. Saw a few from HSN, but I'm not sure about the quality of these home shopping network. Not looking for the 'cover girl', 'barbie' styles with sharp, curved nose.

Can anyone recommend reputable jeweler who have an online shop, or around MI? Many thanks!

Forzieri have a few cameos they have pendants, rings and brooches available. I have bookmarked a few. I have one cameo that my parents purchased 10 years ago in Napoli, whilst on a family cruise. So I'm hoping to upgrade to a gold one soon.

You may find antique ones on Etsy and eBay.

How can you tell an authentic real cameo from a fake or knockoff? I inherited cameo earrings, 2 rings and a pendant from my great grandmother. These pieces are very old and very worn. I have no idea if they are real. I can post pics if someone thinks they can tell me
Thanks

Hre are the pictures of the cameos I have. I will try and take better/clearer ones if needed.
These are my pendant, earings and 2 rings. Let me know what you think. I honestly have no idea if they are real. You can see that they are very old and worn.
