Hi there!
I need some help from any mommy's out there!
I'm having a bag dilemma. I have a 6 mo old and before I even had my baby, I thought it was a smart idea to buy a diaper bag. And, not just any diaper bag, but I bought a really expensive one too (prada baby bag). I sort of regret this, as I find that the inside of the bag is somewhat small to fit everything I need for the baby. Also, I stuff the crap out of it and it's super heavy and end up storing it underneath my stroller leaving me with no bag. I find myself reaching down to grab my wallet/keys/cell phone etc.
So now, I am trying to find another bag. I really want a cute purse for myself to keep my essentials (wallet, keys, makeup, cell phone). Any suggestions??? I just want a cute, comfy bag that will work for me. For reference I'm very petite. 5'0" and 110lbs.

My options are:
1. Henri Bendel Jetsetter Mini Backpackhenribendel.jpg
2. Louis Vuitton MM
3. Louis Vuitton GM (i've always wanted one of these) IMG_2082_grande.jpg

Personally I find a smaller cross body bag to be easiest to mange mange when I'm out with my LO. It keeps my hands free, and easily fits my wallet/keys/phone. I've been using my Celine nano or Mansur Gavriel small bucket bag.

The totes you mentioned can be a great substitute for a diaper bag. I use a tote bag with the tote savvy insert instead of a diaper bag and often just toss my stuff in that so I don't have to carry 2 bags.

I think the NF GM would be great if you wanted to have a new diaper bag that you could also use as a handbag! As long as you don't care that it doesn't have separate sections, but it's so spacious you can stuff it with pouches anyway. The HB jetsetter mini would be perfect if you wanted a bag in addition to your diaper bag. It's super comfy, because every time you get tired of how you're carrying it you can switch the strap in less than a minute. And the straps on the HB are wider than the NF, which will be comfier especially if you're weighing down the NF. Good luck!

I find crossbody or backpack best when with the littles, depending on if I am wearing the baby. If no then backpack, if yes then crossbody bag as lightweight as possible with essentials and larger diaper changing kit, in whatever bag,in the car or under the stroller to handle an unexpected poop or change of clothes needs. My youngest is 14 months so I no longer change her diaper when we are out and about in errands unless she poops which is rare so just my things plus the girls' sippy cups and a pack of wet wipes for sticky face and hands are what I actively carry and even the I sometimes only take my WOC (can fit phone in but otherwise it's just a wallet on long strap to wear crossbody)and wear the baby when popping in to the store with kids, and leave everything else in the car.

Thanks for the suggestion!!! :)

NF GM! One of my most useful bags
Do you find yourself carrying this most the time or just lugging it under the stroller? :D

I use the Jett setter backpack you posted as my baby bag since my toddler is now 3 and I carry the essentials (key, wallet, phone) in my LV pochette. That way I can throw the pochette in the backpack and still be hands free. The key thing for me is being able to be hands free if needed. And I can't imagine carrying anything larger than a crossbody for a purse plus still have to carry a diaper bag. Only time that happens is when my husband is around to carry the rest.

I like the Hermes evelyne bag. Comes in different sizes, lots of colors, and is a terrific cross body bag.
I will have to check this out! What is the price point of this bag?

Thanks for your reply! I ended up getting the mini Jetsetter and I must say I really really love it! Lets me be hands free and it doesn't fall when i have to bend over. Shoot I don't even have to take it off when I need to take a bathroom break it's pretty great! I am still looking for another bag too though :p
