Calling all Boy so black in medium owners - strap question

I recently found a 2018 new medium boy in So Black online, the price was good, all the pictures the seller sent seemed legit, except this one. The logo hardwares on the strap are not facing the same direction and seems off.

Does anyone who owns a new medium boy produced around 2018/19 have the same hardware?

The logos don't always face the same direction. If you're having doubts, you should have it authenticated.

That’s good to know! I haven’t purchase the purse. The seller insisted that it’s authentic and doesn’t offer authentication service.

I would get it authenticated either here or another service by paying for it if there's any doubts.

The alignment of the hardware CC logo on the strap is not always exact, but I haven't seen one that is this off, usually just slightly off.

Also, I don't recall any SO BLACK boy that had matte black hw ever. My 2017 so black boy has shiny black hw.

The seller not providing pictures for you to have authentication done prior to purchase is a red flag. If this is what you meant earlier. Regardless of whether the details in the picture look ok. I recommend being careful and having it looked at here or by a paid service. my 2017 all black boy's hw is shiny.

I don’t have a so black boy but the the strap should have a cut out where the hardware is. Almost like you could push it through. The lighting of the photo could be making it hard to see and also the black color. Also the cc hardware on mine don’t line up perfectly either, but they are more in line with vertical look of the strap. I bought mine directly from Neimans. 18P collection 25 series.

I don't ever recall the Boy bag ever having matte black hardware either

Ohhh good observation!!!! Mine also has those lines so you can put the circles through.
