Calcedony or carnelian or onyx??

Hi everyone
I see according to MOH, all those three stone have same hardness 6-7, but which are more care free ?????? For taking shower and daily activity... I don't baby my stuff , if I have to I almost never use it ever....

What stone do you think is most durable and best ? Any recommendations? Thanks

They’re all about the same. Pick your favorite or what looks best on you and Just wear them. If they get all scratched up replace the motifs at some point.

I have all 3 stones and find the chalcedony to be most carefree because both onyx and carnelian are finger prints & smudge marks magnets, so you'll have to constantly wipe them clean or else they can look kinda dirty.

Would you consider hammered gold instead of a stone, I believe it's the most care free

Still stuck in deciding on my first 5 motif

I’ve eliminated those I don’t fancy. I really like the chalcedony (I am in WG phase now!); or the hammered. At least as my first 5 motif vintage.

I LOVE carnelian the most. so I'm likely to get that one but if store has both, I'd try both and then decide 🙃

I think they're all beautiful and if your heart desires the carnelian, that's what you should go for! I think it looks great with YG or RG!!
