I thought it might be fun to see the brass plate that came on the pouch of my first cabat. It's a large noce that I bought in the Wailea boutique on Maui. The SA there told me it was a new design that had just been released.
I'm not sure what the numbers mean. It says "Limited Edition" and I was told that then, as now, only 500 were made. But unless I'm missing something it doesn't say what number this cabat is of the series. Maybe someone out there can interpret it?
BTW, it was quite tarnished and cleaned up very nicely with brass tarnish remover creme.

That's really interesting to me. I didn't even know that cabats are limited to 500 pieces. Maybe BVettes with other plates in newer versions will add photos of theirs.....

For some of the cabats, they didn't even make 500. Some were limited to 250, others like PorscheGirl's NYC Cabat are limited to 50.
Correct me if I'm wrong PG, I'm making an assumption that your plaque states only 50 made.
I don't know what that first number means, I always assumed it may have been a unique number to the Cabat? The III, I wonder if it represents the season? I'm guessing the 006 is the number out of 500. *shrugs*

If PG's was one of 50, then why would 006 stand for a number out of 500? :D DH has come up with a new term for my ditziness - "food math" - but I can almost get this one - :smile1:

No no, not the one she posted, the yellow and black NYC Spazzolato one.
I think the one PG posted above was from the first Cabat she ever bought.
