By the Pool question

I am considering buying a By the Pool NF MM. Is the canvas printed THEN coated or is the color painted on?
I’m asking as I take care of but USE my bags. I do not baby them but I don’t beat them up. I’m worried about the “paint” wearing off but will totally purchase if it’s a printed color on the canvas- like the brown of the traditional monogram.

To me, it looks like the canvas is printed and then coated overall, so there’s no print to chip off (as opposed to the GO collection).
