Hi Ladies,

I have the opportunities to purchase Bvlgari Bvlgari x LISA Limited Edition watch and not sure if I should get it. The watch is in steel and rose gold, rose gold bezel, a mother-of-pearl mosaic dial, and diamond hour markers. What do you think of this watch? Any advice is appreciated.

I would say it's completely up to you, but I wouldn't think of it as an opportunity, even at only 400 pieces, just think of it as another purchase. Ltd Eds come and go thick ad fast these days, all depends on whether it chimes (no pun intended) with your personal style.

For me the issues would be:
Quartz - so basically (for me) it's a piece of jewellery that tells the time
It's not particularly high value in terms of costly materials, so it's more like fashion watch/jewellery eve though it comes from Bvlgari.
Logo is too large on the bezel
At over £5K, it's not an insignificant purchase. I'd save and buy something I was really sure about.
B are not really known for their watches, so any Bvulgari watch would not do well in resale unless the model came into fashion (long-shot), was a high-jewellery piece or was keenly priced.

It's a real mix of styles and, in my view, not a happy mix.

As @papertiger suggests, better to save and, at these prices, make a purchase that you are really keen on.

A Ltd Edition label does not make any item more appealing if it doesn't work for you. A very high-end watch would perhaps hold it's value but I'm not sure that this Bulgari watch will be popular.

Who is Lisa that the collab is with? Is it a very popular thing ? If it was something that everyone knows and you keep it in pristine condition and it's truly limited ( never to be repeated) it might increase in value.
Or if you truly love both Bvlgari and Lisa and the design of the watch then sure , get it for your own personal enjoyment.
But otherwise, I personally would pass as it's not my taste.

The only Bulgari watch I would buy is the serpenti - it’s iconic and beautifully made and the design is so unusual. This watch looks a bit… idk, run of the mill in terms of design. I wouldn’t do it personally, and the limited edition cachet doesn’t matter to me, but if you love it then that’s different.
