BV Arco Tote - canvas or suede (or both)?

Hi there - need some help. Have ordered the Arco tote in caramel suede - love the look of this but now I’m thinking maybe the canvas version would be good, especially for summer. But concerned about looking after it. Has anyone used either of these two bags? Is the suede version very heavy? Thank you in anticipation.

I had the suede. It’s beautiful. It wasn’t terribly heavy, but I don’t carry a ton in my bags. I haven’t seen a canvas one but I’d be concerned about keeping it clean....
