Buying Tiffany from Fashionphile or Yoogi’s closet?

Get familiar with how the genuine ones look. The hallmarks in the right place, the weight, the craftsmanship, if that exact piece was made and when. I would ask if the owner or consignor had paper work or anything showing authenticity. Good luck.

Although I’ve never bought anything from Yoogis Closet I have noticed that their items are often labeled incorrectly. A few years back I called to purchase what was labeled as a sapphire color by the yard bracelet (which I was going to have Tiffany extend it to a necklace). However, before ordering I called to inquire more information. I noticed the markings were newer and a sapphire cabachon color by the yard piece was not made within that time period. I also was aware that a lapis piece was made in that time frame. So after they re-examined the bracelet they confirmed my suspicions that it was lapis. I also informed them at that point that another piece on the website were labeled incorrectly. The cross stitch earrings were labeled as the Picasso X. Now does that mean they are selling fakes- of course not. The pieces could be 100% real. However it does mean when dealing with them you should be really aware of the piece you are looking to buy.

Hello. I just wanted to share my experience. I purchased few great Tiffany Co pieces in a past from Fashionphile, never had a problem with jewelry. I also consigned few of Tiffany Co gold and silver pieces with them. Great experience so far. Now, I had a good experience with leather goods as well. I remember, I had to sent back LV purse, just didn’t like the condition. Zoom the pictures very carefully. And if you purchase without reserve, when pay the whole amount at the same time, you could return without paying 10% restocking fee. I found out the hard way about return policy on reserve. I hope it helps!

I purchased several designer gold pieces from Fashionphile, and my experience was great. Yesterday, I purchased a Chanel purse from Fashionphile, and I have no concerns about authenticity. They are now affiliated with Neiman’s so I feel confident in my purchases. I hope this helps, and good luck!

I just purchased a gold and diamond Tiffany ring from fashionphile. It was in beautiful condition and gorgeous but didn’t really go with the ring I wanted to wear it with in the end. It was very fairly priced as well IMO.

Fashionphile has a lifetime authenticity guarantee so if you went to have the item serviced or later questioned the authenticity, you could get your money back (or store credit, not sure). Not sure about Yoogi’s. Never bought from them. Fashionphile has great customer service in my experience.
