I have same issue. I love the structure of zipper. I like to keep med-long nails and I know the flap closure would get scratched up. What happens to flap over the years of use. I wonder if it will show structural wear.

i wish i was able to try both zip and flap option in person but no store near me here. After trying this, i think the zipper can be scratchy when taking things in and out, but i like the clean look of the zipper....
i would love to hear how the flap wears also
