Hi, did anyone ever bought jewelry online?I am asking because I am thinking of buying a pomellato nudo ring by the cachetcollections.com.
I am living in Europe,does anybody know if you have to pay taxes?
The difference in price is about 400 euro with the shop price for the same ring!

I only got a pair of Kenneth Jay Lane earrings from the US and I didn't pay any taxes (less than 150 euro)... I'm in Europe too, and I guess the taxes are different in each country, when you buy outside EU. For instance anything over 150 euro that goes through Greek customs office could get up to a 40% tax. Really depends if they will "catch" you with something valuable or not.
For instance me and my sis got something from the US on line, she had to pay 70 euro for taxes and I only payed 16 euro... Go figure.

Anyway, I highly suggest you buy your fine jewelery locally, you can't get a better price outside EU for European brands...
