Buying First Hermes Bag- Resale Price Question

Hi ladies,
I hope this topic is not inappropriate.I've saved and saved and I found a bag I'm absolutely in love with. It's from one of the forum's recommended resellers and she has been absolutely lovely to work with. It's a JPG Birkin which she is selling to me at $7600. It's a color combo that seems fairly hard to find and it's practically new. I've seen other JPG Birkins selling on eBay for as little as $5,999. I don't know if I'm overpaying or not. This is an enormous purchase for me so I just want to be certain and would love some second opinions.

I'm saving the Kelly for my second bag.

Thank you for your good wishes. For now there are no car troubles as I totaled my car and haven't found a new one yet. No car = no troubles I should probably be putting my money towards a new car not a handbag, but I have full use of DBF's second car and everything is within walking distance of where I live.
