Buying Birkin as a gift, this deal seem reasonable?

Hello everyone,

I'm planning to buy my wife her first Birkin for our 5th anniversary coming up. I know this one is the exact color she wants. Condition is excellent. Bag is a 2008. Trying to contextualize this price (still new to all of this...). Seems higher than I have seen for comparable quality in different colors, but not sure whether this deal is good/bad/ok. Any suggestions?

I agree with everyone that is pretty steep. You can check the reseller thread for what resellers tpfers recommend and use.

You can start looking at ann’s Fabulous finds, fashionphile or yoogi’s closet. They seem to be the more popular ones and you can start looking at the prices. Good luck!

There are several threads on buying from resellers, pricing, etc. Kindly do a search; you might also start by looking at closed auctions for prices paid.
