Hi I'm buying an H belt...I would like your opinions on which of the leathers were problematic. I assume TOGO is best...what about Swift/Chamonix/ EPSOM/Box ...how did they wear?

I do not see black Togo anymore?

Also, which H Buckle still looks good after a few years. Not getting the smooth one. I see the one with the vertical lines...how has that worn?

Probably getting the hammered , since the smooth surface seems to scratch badly...any suggestions appreciated...thanks

Actually, I find that togo is so pliable that the holes stretch a little bit...I also have an etoupe in taledakt (I think) and it's much firmer and I've had no problems with wear. Have you also thought about the enamel buckles? I have a white one and LOVE it!

I have been wearing a chamonix reversing to swift mini Constance, often, and am surprised how little wear it has. The shiny buckle has some light scratches, nothing worth noting.

I have three belts: Orange Epsom/Natural Chamonix, Ebene Togo/Prune Suede (sorry, can't remember the name of H suede), and Black Box/Blue Jean Togo. The suede definitely shows the most wear, then box, then chamonix, and togo seems to be the most hearty. I wear mine with jeans all the time and don't have any color transfer on the leather but yes on the white stitching on the blue jean. I have the palladium shiny buckle and the gold hammered buckle. My shiny buckle is very scratched but I really "wear" everything I have. Really, really love my H belts. Enjoy!!!!
