Buying a luggage tag in Europe?

i will be traveling next month to Italy and I'm wanting to purchase a luggage tag there but someone told me that it's harder to buy a luggage tag in Europe since they're replacement parts? Has anyone ever had any experience with this?

Do you own any bag or luggage that originally comes with a luggage tag?

I bought two luggage tags at two different Paris boutiques last week and it wasn’t a problem. Safe travels!
