I have been eyeing the small Marmont camera bag in dusty pink/nude since last summer and am thinking about buying it soon, but I keep reading comments about how “dated” it is, etc. I never buy a bag just because it’s the “it bag” (in fact I usually buy it after it’s faded from the spotlight a bit, and only if I still really like it) but I don’t want to buy something out of style...

Just curious what you all think? Would you still go for it or do you recommend saving my money this time?

TIA

I recently purchased the small camera bag in black and absolutely love it!!!
I thought about it for a long time before purchasing and then purchased about 2 weeks ago with no regrets
It's light weight imo and a very comfortable cross body bag of which I was looking for
I have other bags including Goyard LV and a Chanel boy woc. this was my first Gucci and again loving it!!!

I don't find it dated at all. It's quite simple in a way that it's not that easy for it to go out of style. Especially in neutral colors. So I think while it may not be as popular as it once was, it's still perfectly easy to style.

Go with what you want. If fewer people wear it, that just means yours will stand out more. It kinda becomes a bit tiresome when the same bag is hanging off of every other girl you meet in a mall.

I honestly love mine. I do see how the marmont trend has been dying down, and I'm not sure how popular the bag will be a year from now. With that being said, it is a beautiful bag. The leather is super soft, the small size is really roomy. I'd say try it on in store, see other options, compare them, go home, sit on it and see how you feel a couple weeks after :)
