Burberry Ruched Ribbon Leather Satchel

Haven't seen any discussion of this bag. I am loving this bag but think it might be impractical, especially b/c the sides of the ribbons are unfinished, raw leather. Plus, the price is pretty steep for a sale (original price was almost $2K). Need opinions please!!!

The edges of the ruffle ribbons are unfinished? I thought they had that painted finish on them so it wouldn't fray.

Seems/feels raw to me, but doesn't seem like it will fray.

I have the smaller one in pink bought 40% off from Nordstrom I love the bag - after you see it in person you'd see how soft and pretty the bag is. It's also very practical. The shoulder strap is long enough to wear cross-body. And the bag is very light as well. I love the ruched ribbons on the bag!

I bought the pink one from nordstorm at 40% off too. I love it even when it was regular price. I've seen the black one. I still like the pink one better. But they are both lovely.

I'm kicking myself for not having purchased this when I had the chance. I just hope I find it somewhere, someday. I'm with you- I love this bag! Especially in black.
