There were several different versions of the Florentine Buckley.
The original was monochromatic with the handles and drawstring
and trim all in the same color as the handbag. Later versions had
either dark brown handles/trim or a lighter caramel or butterscotch
color handles/trim.
So I'm guessing the brown bag (chestnut?) has the dark (Tmoro brown( trim.

I don't know if there were other minor changes, maybe to the interrior lining
or pockets.
Also check the dimensions to be sure they were the same size.

Also they had a Toledo Florentine version, the main portion of the bag was Toledo leather and the trim was brown tmoro Florentine with the metal plate logo. Ive only seen black, natural, and rare red that were the same leather throughout (no contrasting drawstring, piping, or tassels),with the leather duck patch instead of the plate. They also had nubuck suede on the top half and the bottom bucket is brown tmoro florentine. The Buckley bag is so awesome.

I’m excited to receive it. I was able to catch a steal for it on TU. I got the chestnut color with the metal name plate. And now they have another Buckley in the natural color with the duck logo. The only difference I saw on the D&B site was they said the natural is Vaccheta, and the chestnut is Florentine.

I was wondering if there was any difference in the leather. Like is the natural softer?

As far as I understand, the term Vachetta leather is very generic for
smooth top grain leather. It tends to have some thickness and
structure that makes it good for handles and trim.

In years past, Dooney called the trim on
Florentine handbags Florentine Vachetta Leather.
It was embossed on the bag.

So, was this leather any different than the Florentine leather on the rest of
the handbag? Was it a different kind of leather processed the same as
the rest of the Florentine leather?
Or is the terminology just imprecise or fluid?

I just got all my goodies in! The colors go so perfectly together for the fall weather.

The Buckley is from TU. The chestnut color is so rich, and warm. She’s in great shape, just needs a wipe down, and a quick vacuum inside.

The wallet and keychain are from ILD eBay. The key chain is gorgeous, and goes so well with the Buckley.

The wallet is the ivy color. It has a metal zipper. The inside is red canvas material. I did not know that, and it doesn’t say it on the ILD site either. I’m a bit irked by that, because these areas going to get dirty from cash and coins. Other than that, I’m going to keep the wallet. I got it for a great deal during their sale last weekend. And it’s the perfect size for my smaller cross body bags.

Whenever you get the chance check out the Dooney outlet. The prices are always 40% off or more than the websites. You can check everything in person. It’s worth a little road trip they did not have any Buckleys in Aurora.

Yes! My mom saw my Florentine satchel and she wants to plan a day to drive out to Aurora LOL. I’m planning for Black Friday weekend.

Also, I got 2 coupons to use for another wallet - (20%) (25%) by 11/30/23. They can only be used online though.

Las vegas outlet will text you pics, you can buy over the phone and they will ship it from their store. Aurora doesn’t ship. I asked if they ship when I was there.

that’s a nice coupon to shop online for Black Friday/ cyber Monday. Where can I get a coupon?
