Buckle Zip Tote

I briefly owned the predecessor of this tote which is without the zip (so just the buckle tote). It's a very handsome bag, but the leather is very quality and thick and hence it was a super heavy bag even without anything in it. I couldn't load up the bag (it can hold a lot, including a laptop) because it would get too heavy to lug around comfortably...
I would say it's a great bag if you're not planning to use it for work/daily commutes with a laptop and other heavier items in it.

Thank you despair. I was also thinking about the one without the zip, given the even more minimalistic look.
The tone would be indeed my daily work bag, which in 50% of the cases include the laptop. I guess I really have to try the bag in store. Maybe they will allow me to put my laptop inside, to get a better feel for it.

I have this! It was a random stackable discount purchase a while back and mostly sat as a "I saved money by spending money" bag. Took me a while to play with it but I've used it for some travel recently and will use again in the future.
For the way the bottom is shaped, it's important to get a tote shaper for your laptop - it's a little unique being long and thin(ish) so I had to find a shaper sized for "slender large" dimensions. The shaper kept the laptop upright and distributed the laptop weight better when I had other things in there.
Like @despair said, it’s not a lightweight bag but I’m not sure any leather tote feels light with a laptop in it. I have it at a length where it’s comfortable on my shoulder and in hand, so there’s flexibility in how I want to carry it. Both ways haven’t felt awkward when I’ve loaded the bag (but not stuffed completely full).
