Another shape I love that is made with giant hardware, so I won't be getting it. I could also do without the rope handle, but the shape of the bag looks very cute. The price is $1295. Also, a $3,495 (YIKES!) flower dress, a $385 scarf, and Gladiator Flats for $695. What do you guys think?

the shape annoys me alittle right now since the leather is stiff but i'm sure it'd look much better if it was broken in nicely. However, I can do without the rope handles...that just makes a $1300 bag look cheap...

I think the shape is actually rather cute. Its hard to see what its real size is, but I think if there is substantial weight in the bag the rope strap would really cut into your shoulder, so no to the rope strap from me.

No idea how the sizes compare, but isn't the Marine with ropes the same basic shape as the bucket bag with a strap? Maybe this one squashes more, but I'd be afraid they'd be sort of bulky. I tried on the sandals yesterday, and they look much better on and are also really comfy. I might get them instead of waiting for the solid leather ones I was thinking about.
