Buci or Alma bb

The Buci might be more practical, but will never be the absolute icon that the Alma is. That is the most Vuitton one can get. And I recommend the classic over the new jacquard strap one.

May I ask why you prefer the classic over the jacquard strap? I really like the overall look but blue is my favorite color. Love everything about the buci bag, it’s so beautiful but Alma is more roomy right?

I’d think jacquard is a trend that will eventually fade away. Classic Alma will always be quintessential LV. I have a few epi almas and they’re easy to wear and goes with everything. It’s truly an LV bag. I’d give up my other LV bags, but not my almas.

This!
It is also shorter than the leather strap, it is not the best fit for many.
And also it is fabric. The leather is literally wipable and water repellent. But once the fabric gets dirty... They told me at the store that is it easy to clean, but we all know what that means. We either get lucky with a specialist dry cleaner or get stuck with a used-look.

Ladies, what would be a nice small everyday for a mid-40’s gal. Buci or Alma bb? blue Vs black?

I have the Buci in quartz and absolutely love it. But I‘m now thinking about getting either the black Buci too or the black Alma.
Like others said, the Alma is a true classic. However, the Buci is more versatile and more comfortable to wear. If you intend to wear it crossbody, the Alma sticks out more and also moves when walking because the strap attaches diagonally on the handle rings. I found this to be better with the jacquard strap because the leather one was way too long on me so the bag hit my thighs and moved even more.
The Buci can also be worn on the shoulder. So it also depends on how you prefer carrying your bags.
Both bags seem to hold the same amount but I have not tried this.
Maybe you could go to the store and try them all on to see which one you like best? Also to see the indigo colour in person. Good luck deciding!
