I just purchased a pimilco satchel in bright oak. I’ve carried it one time and I noticed this small bubble in the leather. It’s raised and a bit lighter in color. I can’t figure out what might have caused this. I thought maybe the tiniest drop of water possibly (?) but it hasn’t gotten smaller after sitting for a few days. I don’t want it to get worse or happen again. I’m extra annoyed because it’s in a visible spot. Any ideas?

Super Luxe Calf looks very much like Hermes Box leather, so I think you'r hunch is correct, it does look like a drop of water created the bubble.

There is nothing you can do except leave alone.

What does the care card say?

Mulberry used to recommend spraying with Collonil protector for some leathers so the care card should guide you regarding whether that would be suitable for your bag i.e. when/if that should be done.

Smooth leathers will show imperfections and character more easily than a pebbled leather but we all age and time shows on our faces and so our bags will do the same on our journey through life.

Mulberry says to use smooth leather cream, nothing else. I’m just glad it’s not Hermes; I’d be beside myself! I hope it blends in more as it ages. I gave it a good coating of mulberry leather cream and now it’s just shiny.
