Brush for Loose Powder?

I finally picked up the MAC 187 today for myself since I had to go shopping for my buddy and that brush is awesome.

It is great for powder, putting on foundation, and even blush! The MAC 182 kabuki brush is awesome too.

Im actually using the MAC 187 for foundation and LOVE it ! It gives a nice, smooth complexion with minimal product.
hmmm...maybe i should buy 2 of the same brush?

^^^ Try the one you have with loose powder first. I didn't like the way my 187 works with loose powder. I use a Smashbox kabuki-type brush - #29, I believe.

Well, the MAC 182 is my preference for kabuki's when putting on powder foundation, but if you want just a big fluffy brush for dusting of loose powder, i definitely recommend Stila's #8 powder brush. DEFINITELY one of the SOFTEST brushes i've felt.

I agree, I love my TM #5 brush - it's not cheap, but it's soooo worth it!

Everyday Minerals, softest brush ever! I'm referring to their thick brushes, don't get their eyeshadow ones.

^^ Woot woot for Everyday Minerals brushes! I have the long-handled kabuki brush. Omigosh, IMO it's just as soft as the MAC brushes and so much more affordable at around $10 each. I also have the flat top brush, eye kabuki brush, and angled blush brush. I could run the bristles over my fingers all day long.
