Dropped by the Longchamp store today to grab a new medium Le Pliage in either the turquoise color or the barbie pink...picked up turquoise since it's a bit more of a greenish Tiffany blue in person than the sky blue that I feared and the sales associate mentioned how brown handled Le Plaiges were going to be phased out in the next few years and to grab whatever colors I was eying while they were still around. I don't know if she was just using this as a scare tactic, but has anyone else heard anything else about this? The brown handled ones are my favorite bag style and I really dislike the tone-on-tone Le Pliage styles.

I have not heard this nor do I think its true. This is a classic and probably sells more than any other style. It IS the original le pliage I do like the green line (and liked the club) but I think they will always do the brown handle Like I said it is the le pliage BTW I just ordered the turquoise small top handle I have the LLH in turquoise and love it Did you get the medium long handle or med top handle?
I got the long handle medium. I love it so much I'm honestly contemplating getting it in the large and the small top handle as well, it might be one of my favorite colors that they ever made. I also love the Barbie pink though, and will also be getting a long handle medium in that as well and maybe the small top handle. It's the first time in a long time that I've liked Longchamp's spring le pliages so much, the saturated non-muted colors are really up my alley.
