Hope some of you fashionistas can help me out. My brother is getting married on Labor Day weekend. My mom just asked me what my daughter (14 mo old) and I were going to wear... ugh... haven't thought about it with the stresses of my new job.
Anyway, my son is going to be a ringbearer. I'd like to somewhat coordinate my colors with my daughter, but I don't know if it's necessary(?). Would like something classic yet modern, conservative... It will be indoors at a church in Los Angeles with pictures outside, Labor Day weekend. I have a dress for the evening. Need a day one for pictures/ceremony.
I'm 34yo, size 4, mother to two children... This is the best I could find for my daughter

but I haven't bought it yet.
Anything you would suggest would be greatly appreciated. I haven't bought a normal sized dress for a nice occasion in over 3 years...
Thanks in advance!

That dress is adorable, is pink the colour scheme you have your mind set on for your little girl? If you are still looking around for dresses for her, there are some darling dresses on Etsy:

eg ittybittycouture's smocked dresses (custom-made for toddlers up to two years old)

What colours do you yourself love, if I may ask?

Ooh that is cute. As for me, I love reds, but it is a Chinese wedding so red is for the bride only. Any color is fine except peach-ish/pale yellow colors.

That is the sweetiest cutest dress !! .
I think that would be perfect .
For your self How about a light weight suit something in a dressier fabric .
And you do not have to coordinate with your children if you do not want to . Here is a example of what I mean
