I didn’t use to take a second look at this style, then late last year I did. From model photos, it seemed like a great size. I love structure and it has it. I’m drawn to the shape as well. Strap drop seemed good for me in both crossbody wear and shoulder carry. I studied the description very well and I decided then that this would work for me.

But there’s no Mulberry shop in my country. And when I traveled to another Southeast Asian country, the Brockwell was not in the boutique. So no way for me to see it IRL.

Then several colors appeared on the Mulberry online sale, but still, with our high duties and taxes, I could not bite the bullet. Then Farfetch offered additional 20% off on sale items, and it’s now a good price for me! The tangerine grained one was even a better price, but much as I like looking at the color, I just know I will not wear it much. So I opted for this blue in silky calf. My only worry was that I don’t generally like contrast stitching, and this one has it.

And she arrived 2 days ago but I only got the chance to open the box yesterday. Love love love it!:smile: I immediately wore it!

I don’t think there is a review or much mention of this style here in tpf (please correct me if I’m wrong), so I decided to post this reveal for reference.

I’m about 5’3.5” for reference.

Classic and looks great on you! I think when you're switching in a new bag right after getting it, that's the tell-tale sign that it was the right decision to purchase it. Congrats!

This is such a sharp-looking bag! I think you chose very well. It has a polished, professional look. And because it is not available in your country, you will stand out when you carry it!

P.S. A perfect match with your shoes, too. Love those TB flats! ;)

Thanks! And when I said “immediately” wore it, I changed into it in the car mid-day! I had a meeting in the afternoon of the morning I got to open the box, and I already switched to this for that meeting. :P

Looks really great on you!
Thanks @youngster !
Love your bag! It's very cute with your work-style outfit!
Friday is a casual wear day at work. But this bag elevates the outfit (I think so)! Thanks!

Thanks dear Elaine!! I know some ladies prefer silver-toned hardware, but I’ve started to gravitate towards gold since last year or so. And this gold chain adds a lot of dimension to this already gorgeous (IMO) bag! And also the structured shape.

I have a silky calf Mulberry from several years ago and its held up really well! I've looked at the Brockwell off and on over the past year so its super to see your real life pics.
Nice to know that silky calf holds up well.
I don’t normally start a thread but because I don’t see the Brockwell around, I posted a reveal for reference. I’m glad it helps. :flowers:

I like this style too and there isn’t any review to be found online. I am happy to see your post. Just curious how big is the capacity?
I’m not able to post pictures now, but I’ve carried in the bag 2 cellphones - iPhone 8 Plus in the outside slip pocket and Samsung A50 inside, Bottega Veneta small french wallet, 2 card cases, a pack of tissues, a key pouch (size of coin purse but maybe 1 inch depth at the bottom), compact powder, lipstick, dental floss, small comb. They don’t fit very tightly. And the height of the bag is good so you could stack some stuff if needed. I’m happy with the bag for my weekend stuff. But for office days, other “junk” in my daily bag acts as my security blanket, so I don’t think I can manage with this bag. Maybe for a day or two. But that’s me.
