Hi everyone,
I purchased the brixton loafers in August and the insole is starting to unravel already. I’ve only worn them 6 times! Has this happened to anyone? They are offering a free repair but I’m thinking I should get a new pair after such a short time. [/QUOTE]

I have seen wrinkled insoles, I think when they were glued, they were not smoothed out properly. I was surprised it managed to get to the store like that. Obviously I rejected that pair. My lovely SA managed to pair up a pair of brixtons with unwrinkled insoles for me.

I think so long as they repair it for free, you should accept it. Especially if your pair is very comfortable. New doesn't mean better when it comes to shoes.

I also had a pair of Hermes mules where one insole rolled up like yours. I smoothed it back on pressing hard with my thumb and since it was still sticky it stuck back on and was fine ever since.

Yes! This happened to me too! Since I bought my pair from NAP, I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of the dhl return....
So I never reported it... I’m disappointed tbh...

With the amount of money we spend on these shoes you would think they were better quality! I got mine from Holt Renfrew in Canada so I can bring in store for the repair. Did you get yours fixed and how are they holding up??

No, I didn’t do anything... it didn’t get worse, but I don’t wear them very often lately...

If it's not too long ago, let them know. They may advise you Gucci will accept repairs or at least give you a discount. As Demi said these are not cheap shoes.

Unfortunately, it’s been almost a year, but this happened the first time I wore them... a little dye bled also on my skin... anyway, I don’t think I’m buying another pair, although they are very comfortable...
