Bridgit, Bridgit, Bridgit get out of my head!

Wow, you guys. I love my Bridgit way more than I expected. I love absolutely everything about it. The last couple days I've been torturing myself with whether or not the strap would be too long, whether or not it was going to be too small, etc. I almost had myself talked into not liking it before I even had it.

First, even though Coach's measurements say the bag is only 2" wide, it's 2" wide when empty. It's almost like an expando bag for lack of a better term. I can fit so much in it! I put my large Legacy slim envelope wallet in one compartment by itself and in the other one I put my Treo phone (which is a bigger sized PDA phone), my Legacy stripe coin pouch and my vintage skinny case for makeup and I still have plenty of room to spare in both compartments and it's not even close to looking overstuffed. I think I can fit as much as I can in my Legacy Shoulder Zip. The coin purse on the back is pretty much useless and I think more of a decoration than anything else. I know some people don't like it but I think it's adorable. The shoulder strap is 26" and the drop length is 11". The bag is fairly heavy for being a small to mid-sized bag but it's not absurdly heavy. I don't feel like I've got a piano strapped to my shoulder or anything.

I am not going to bore you with a bunch of photos, as peacocky already posted all of her really good photos; I will just post a couple. ;)

I highly recommend this bag to anyone considering it. You will not regret it and I also don't think you'll feel as if you overpaid for this bag. I really think this is one of the most stylish smaller bags that Coach has ever made.

This thread has me cracking up!! MBL, it's OK, the initial shock of disenabling has worn off! It's just never happened to me before! LOL!

Mokoni, don't you dare re-enable me with this bag! I do not want it! NO! No, no, no, no, no!! (this reminds me of Dr. Suess's Sam I Am!) I do not want it in a box.... hahaha!

OK, I've just gone silly, that's all. I haven't made a purchase yet today... that's what I need. Yeah...

Oh, flippin' heck! Mokoni! What the heck did ya go and do that for? Geesh! I bet it's just plain ugly in Walnut though. UGLY! And anyway, I wanted Mahogany and I bet they haven't even made it in Mahogany! Hmmm. Enable me will ya! :blah: LOL!

Don't worry, Teena, I understand perfectly what you are going through. You need your Coach fix. Oh, yeah, I am sure that Walnut is HORRID, GHASTLY!

Thanks, Mokoni! I knew I could count on you!!

I actually have a large Carly on the way as well as a geranium Madeline, after returning some things last week by mail. I just have to wait forever for them to arrive! If either of those don't work out.... well, then I may have to succumb to the temptation of owning this ugly, expensive, little bag! In Walnut no less! The horror! Glad I didn't enable anyone into this frightening thing! Whew! :sweatdrop:  (and don't even get me started on the Heritage line....) ;)

ETA: In all seriousness, I really don't think this bag will be around for a huge length of time. When I looked at it in the red book it was tabbed under Special Editions and so I doubt that there will be a lot made.
