There is a store in Knightsbridge (behind Harrods) called Salou that have a lot of Birkins and Kelly's. I consigned one of my bags to them last year and they were great.

It may be worth calling them to see what stock they have before you go though.

If money is no objection, which I assume as you are looking to buy an exotic bag, then I would fly to Japan and buy from the H stores there. Since you are not set on any colour at all as long as it's a croc you should have no problem.

I have seen H bags on display at Salou that I would not touch. They are dealing with a lot of vintage items, not just H. I am not convinced that all items are authentic. If you are thinking of spending so much money, would you not want to make sure it is absolutely perfect and authentic. Just my opinion.

I have been to Salou twice from the States, and completely agree. Something about the casual way they display their bags, with only a select few behind glass, spoke volumes. Not to mention actually touching and looking for basic hallmarks.

Thank u all for replying.
I want it to be perfect and I prefer it to be from the boutique but its hard with the waiting list.
I hope one day I will drop by and find an exotic on display.
So is salou a good place to buy from or not?

Salou has a lot of stock of bags that look very good condition-wise...but I have never looked at the hallmarks in detail and their prices are definitely high for used bags...ie starting at around gbp 9k (usd 15k approx)...i would rather wait to get a bag from an H boutique or buy a used bag at a more sensible price

I am going to London for over a week in June and am wondering if there are any stores in London that sell authentic Vintage Hermes for a good price. I am interested in a Vintage Birkin or Kelly bag.

Hello,

I am going to London in a few weeks and was hoping you could help me name a few shops that sells second hand Hermes bags?

A friend of mine mentioned a shop with an Asian name on Bond Street, anyone familiar with this one?

Thank you ladies :-)

Don't think you will find any shop like that on Bond Street!
However I seem to recall someone mentioning a shop in Knightsbridge round the corner from Harrods
and Beauchamp Place comes to mind.
