Brass rubbing off on card case wallet in a year?

Hello all,

I bought this card wallet in Heathrow in January 2020.

The brass is turning silver already at the top of the first G and also at the point of its cross bar.

Is this normal wear and tear? Kinda concerned tbh, didn't expect the brass to rub off in 12 months!

I believe that Gucci hardware isn't actually brass, so this is just the finish wearing off. I don't think there's a good way to fix it unfortunately, but I honestly don't see any discoloration on your pictures!

Yes it's very hard to capture! And thankfully you can only see it at certain angles so far. I just wanted to know how typical it was.
