Brand New Marmont Wallet on a Chain - wrinkly/creased?

Hi All,

I wanted to seek some advice as this is my first time purchasing a Gucci bag. I just received my order this evening. Upon opening the box, the bag looks really creased and wrinkly to me.

Is this is way it's supposed to look? It looks used to me.

Backstory: I ordered it from Nordstrom in November - it was backordered until May. Last week, I received an email that my backorder was canceled...not sure why. So I just went back to the Nordstrom website and re-ordered it. And I received an email that it shipped a couple days later. Anyways, now it's listed as sold out on the website, so I don't think there's an option to exchange it for another one.

I'm pretty sure it's NOT supposed to look like this new. I ordered the marmont camera bag online and the bag I got was in the exact same condition as yours, I think it's a result of not being stored properly or used and returned because when I went to the Gucci store to look at bags in person after I returned the one I bought online, none of them had the wrinkling to the same degree. Even after a year, the one I ended up getting in-store doesn't look nearly as wrinkled as the one that was shipped to me.

I think you should be 100% happy with your purchase and you’re not. I’d return it.

That's 100% unacceptable for a new luxury bag. You should return asap.

It definitely was not stored properly! It looks like someone sat on it I’d return it.

I have the exact same bag (selling to Fashionphile) and it does not look like that at all. I’d return it. (There’s no color transfer at all—that’s just bad lighting)
