I would not keep it, to be honest....

A few months I would understand but a year or over would not sit well with me.

I say exchange it for a new one, doesnt hurt LV one bit...and the bag will be in better shape for the long run for you.

i am super picky, as much as possible i would like a brand new bag. i bought a papillon 30 in 06 and the date code was 04. the bag was perfect and i didnt know anything about date codes when i bought it. i think the only set back is if you ever try to sell it on ebay the buyers would question the real age of the bag. but if you are happy with it, keep it. hope this helps
