I recently ordered two bracelets from Tiffany to try on at home, the black T square bracelet
and the makers wide chain bracelet.
I really like the black bracelet, but I was concerned about how it would wear over time, given that it is black coating over steel and can end up looking like this:

I called Tiffany to ask if they would be able to either repair or entirely strip off the black coating, and I'm glad I did, because they said they don't have the tools to do either. I personally don't understand why they would make and sell a $1300 coated steel bracelet they can't provide after-sales services for, but IMO it's a little pricey for what is essentially disposable fashion jewelry, so I cancelled the order.
I still like the T square bracelet and am considering it in silver or gold, but leaning more toward silver. Do you think the silver version would hold up as well as the gold over the years for daily wear?

I should be receiving the makers bracelet soon, and while I think it looks amazing on some people, it may end up being a little busy for me personally.
I would appreciate any input/advice and created a poll up top. Thanks!
