Now THESE are what a Prada lambskin bag should look like. A few of the lovelies that have passed through my hands.

While I don't have strong feelings for or against the bomber tote, these bags are just TDF, PP!!! I think they're all just beautiful, but my favorite might be the last bag (the one in the last 2 pics). I don't think I've seen that bag in real life. Swoon!
That satchel is from the 2007 collection, if my fried brain is working. For what ever reason, it wasn't that popular. Fashionphile actually has three of the versions that were offered at that time, not the one in the photos, but similar. Yes, they're authentic.

I've been watching the last one (the dark brown satchel) forever, hoping they'd drop the price, but it's still way over my budget!
I was eyeballing a lamb skin bag on Yoogi's, but have never gotten fully serious about it. Part because the price is steep, and part because I'm not sure what to make of the straps. It says it's an 18" drop...I have cross bodies that are an 18" drop. But this doesn't look like you could wear it crossbody...so I was worried the straps may be an awkward length. I love the color and the hardware though, and it looks nice and roomy. I ended up going with a Mulberry Alexa. My first foray into the brand, so I'll see how it goes.
Here's the lamb skin Prada though:

The price on that one on Yoogi's actually was even higher when I started watching it, and it's dropped some. It's been on there forever, so I keep hoping that maybe they'll do another more significant reduction. That IS cute I really like the color. The price, not so much :giggles:
Let me know how the Alexa experience goes. I know someone who also just got one.

I fell in love with an Alexa in bluebell (it's a bit lighter blue than that Prada bag) but it disappeared off the Mulberry web site before I got it. I tried everything and finally someone on the Mulberry forum recommended a sales associate at a Mulberry outlet in California. I called and he set it up to ship to me (only $10 shipping too!) It's due to arrive sometime this week, so I'm pretty excited! First purse purchase in almost a year, when I got my Prada Daino tote.
OMG, I loooooove the Alexa. I haven't even carried it yet, it just arrived today. But I can't stop playing with it...even my dog was sniffing it! I was saving up for another Prada (I plan to visit the Orlando, Florida outlet this winter) but I'm glad I went with this.
