Box Calf & Carbon Pro?

I have this gorgeous box calf Evelyn TPM on it’s way to me. I’m aware that box calf doesn’t hold up well in the rain. Has anyone ever treated their box calf bags with Collonil Carbon Pro to protect them? I use it all my bags as a water stop but just nervous about trying it on box.

Marilla, did you keep this bag in the end? I’m looking for any review of an evelyne tpm in box leather! If you have it, do you like it?

I have one in clemence and love it so much I’m thinking about getting a second.
