Bought something I didn't think I wanted ...

I had gotten a call on Monday evening that the smaller grey patent tribeca 14118 had come into the outlet and I wasn't sure if I wanted because I thought I wanted to larger size but when I put my stuff in it while in the strore it fit and it was a keeper. :graucho:

So I was walking around trying to get full use of the 20/30% coupon and wasn't seeing much but as I peeped under the additional 30% off shelf mixed with the poppies was something that looked different from the poppies and it was red/orange and caught my eye - it was the Alex Sateen Tote and funny thing is I had not been a fan and didn't want another non-leather bag but she came home with me :nuts:.

I got both bags for $212 + tax - the tribeca was clearanced and the alex tote was 30% off. So I got the additional 30% since my total was more than $250.

I didn't do a reveal because it was not a new color and others have shared theirs pictures and the bag is still in the car ;) but I wanted to share that I didn't think I would like the Alex bag until I saw it in person.

Thanks ladies for sharing - you opened me up to Alex and now I have a pop of summer color and another grey bag.....

I love the orange alex tote. It's so cute for summer. Funny, I saw it a week ago and went back to get it a couple of days ago. It was gone so I came home with the gray patent tribeca.

Okay - if no one minds I will post pics - I will have to get them out of the car and unwrap but I promise I will post tomorrow - just realized I need to get a couple scarfs to dress them up - i nice orange one would be really pretty.

Please bare with me - went and took pics on the BB and now the pic won't go through URGGHHHHH it keeps bouncing back.

Also, I could have sworn I checked the bag when I got it but when I just took the bags out of the car and unwrapped I checked over again, because I remember the horror stories from other TPFr's and gasp on the side on the bag is a couple pen marks. THey are not that bad but there none the less - I will call them tomorrow so see if they have another one - I saw one on the counter when I was there but not sure if it was being held for someone.

And in the Alex tote was a white dustbag and I was shocked by that find.

Still waiting to upload the pics fingers crossed.

Thanks everyone - the PX that I live near is small and hardly get anything - I am definately in need of being banned but I have bonus money coming and I hope to find the older kristin style tote.

As I look at the Alex I am really liking the color - now I hope they have something in the Tribeca although I will say it is probably not a deal breaker maybe they will give me an add't discount.
