So I have zero watchs and have wanted to get something for a long time was out shopping with my wife today (She ended up getting this cute burberry clutch/bag thing thats really nice) and I came across this Tag that was a price that I couldnt pass up. Its a Carrera with a 1.5 carat diamond dial.

My fiance just purchased the same watch without the diamond bezel on it and a blue face. He LOVES it!!! He stares about it as much as I stare at my ring!
Very nice! It's a beautiful watch! DF and I looked at Omegas and Rolex and a few other watches for him but he kept coming back to the Carrera. Something about the design really caught his eye more so than anything else.

Yes Macys has some great deals if you look good enough. Between the sales price the F&F and opening a new account (Side note about that even if you have a macys account already you can open a new one and still get the new account savings) it came out to about 2500. Im not sure if I could have found it cheaper but im pretty sure I couldnt.
I was trying soooo hard at the counter to NOT get him to get a watch! like becoming almost an obnoxious b*tch criticizing every watch and being the biggest hater to get him to go away! but then he just wouldn't give in and I just told him that I was going to get the milgauss and he absolutely protested and said he would never forgive me for it and it would ruin the wedding day for him. But the way his face was with this watch, I knew that it was something he loved. I'll think of something else
Sorry Matt! Don't mean to thread jack and interfere. But the carrera was one of the watches that I really had no bad comments on. I'm pretty strict on the bezel of watches, and the Tag has a great bezel in this style versus a lot of the other brands we looked at. Also, my local Macys said that this was the first style to sell out during the F&F sale.

No problem I'm really happy with the watch and its special to me because I ordered a real Carrera about 5 months ago and have been anxiously waiting for it(hopefully will be here within the next month) So it will go along well with that.
