Multicolor Intrecciato Microdots

A colourful new workmanship, called intrecciato microdots, adds a surreal touch. The woven leather features a serigraphic print with a flurry of tiny dots, creating a striking optical pattern that recalls moving pixels.

BV describes this as "an innovative intreccio shadow embroidery motif, which adds a sculpted effect and feel to the nappa leather contours".

Pre-Fall 2018, under Tomas Maier

Inspired by the earliest ancient Roman road, the Appian Way, nappa leather is hand-woven in signature intrecciato club and finished with over 100,000 stitches of hand-embroidery. The Intrecciato Appia Messenger (or "Pillow" or "Nodini") was available in two colorways, Monalisa (Monalisa/Atlantic), and Multicolor (Sunset/Mist).

Introduces the limited edition Pied de Poule Intrecciato, which features a broken herringbone pattern. This new texture is made available in the Olimpia and Roma bags in Monalisa and China Red.

Chamomile Intrecciato Club Stitch Knot Clutch
A single piece requires over ten hours of hand craftsmanship, ten metres of precious ayers and 238 hand-applied eyelets. Soft nappa intrecciato is meticulously woven with fine ayers through its delicate eyelets, while the clean-lined silhouette is framed with ayers trim.

Elegant and understated, the Cabat is Bottega Veneta’s most iconic design—a deceptively simple, seamless tote that is finished as beautifully on the inside as it is on the outside. This style is inspired by Venetian gazing balls, hand-woven from soft nappa leather and embellished with over 1400 hand-applied resin spheres. It features rolled handles and an interior zipped pouch with an engraved limited-edition tag.

Intrecciato Brio Messenger ("Nodini", "Pillow")
The iconic Nodini is reinvented in the new Intrecciato Brio workmanship. Longer strips of the leather fettuccia, used to weave intrecciato, are precisely pulled through and knotted to create a tactile fringe. (Shown here in Nero).

This treatment also seen on the Loop bag, both large (shown here in Steel) and small (shown here in Cement).

The Camel Komodo Struzzo Knot treatment in tonal shades of brown. Available too in black/ grey.

'Kaleidoscope' treatment and motif. Limited to the Asian market (I think).
Press release in Japanese describes this as incorporating "BV's intrecciato technique and the Japanese kaleidoscope with colorful Grokuroran (silver and gold metallic parts). Featuring a detailed, feminine and modern design features. The design, which incorporates the kaleidoscope concept, embodies traditional decoration and contemporary charm. Outstanding craftsmanship is used in every detail."

Making its debut this season, the Tambura is named for its drum-like shape. The soft, compact bag is made in Intrecciato Abstract workmanship, the brand’s most complex workmanship ever, which translates the look of abstract art into woven leather. The Tambura’s oversize zipper pulls and cross-body strap are also crafted in intrecciato checker. It can also be carried by its two short straps.

Espresso Intrecciato Manhattan Olimpia (Limited Edition: 30 in Espresso were made)
"... this bag highlights a map of Manhattan. The clasp is meant to be the Bergdorf Goodman store, and the streets are denoted with the snakeskin details. The solid, darkre rectangle represents Central Park, where Bergdorf Goodman its on the southern border."
