botkier stevie - HELP

i just bought the botkier stevie convertible satchel.. and i just noticed today that if i put too much stuff inside the bag, the handles might slowly rip off .. has this happened to anyone before?

can it be prevented? thanks!

Hi, I have the same bag...yes, I've noticed that...mine haven't ripped off but they don't look that strong, since I don't carry that many things that doesn't really bother me but I agree with you. The only way I know to prevent it is to carry less stuff...sorry I can't be of more help

I had the stitching start to go with my Bianca handles. I was able to fix it easily with some thread and a leather neddle I got at a fabric store. It's held for 3 years with no additional wear.
