I just bought two pairs of the Coach Ruby Boot from SAS. I wore the black exactly two times for maybe 5 hours indoors on carpet and maybe some tile. Does this heel wear look normal? It doesn’t to me.

I feel like boots show their where the most in the first weeks that you wear them and then they calm down. Depending on the material of the heel, I have several that I've actually had to kind of clean up after wearing them for a while. That said, if it really bothers you, I would return them.

Thank you. I was excited about the heels as I thought they’d show less wear. Just concerned how long before they look really bad. I wouldn’t return but I bought a brown pair as well and haven’t worn so debating returning those even though they are pretty.

Just odd IMO. I’m a runner and my running shoes certainly don’t show wear very fast but I guess they are meant to take a beating!

Also, running shoes don't have crisp corners to heels like boots would. If they both look the same, it's normal wear. Eventually they'll wear down to the point where you need to take them to a cobbler and get rubber lifts put on, so it's to be expected.
