So, I don't know if this is really true, but FSH says that not only are there no birkies in the combo I want (a pretty basic combo), but that the waiting list is 4 deep! They also tried to say that all of the Birkins were only show bags that were out. Can that be? I keep hearing how many bags the FSH store has! (I didn't go - my DH is there for business and has been back twice trying for me). I'm feeling really discouraged!

But, he did snap a pic of this gorgeous croc Kelly for me!:tup:

That's the first violet croc kelly I've seen - gorgeous.

On the availability of birkins at FSH, it really depends on the availability of stock and the timing of your husband's visit. A friend's husband (in paris for work) went to FSH consecutively but each time, they told him there was no stock and to come back again to check. He went home empty handed.

Hi Archangel - I think it might be fuschia and it just looks violet posted. Either way, it's:love::love::love:!

Glad to hear that this isn't abnormal, although I do wish your friend had gotten her H goodie. Plus, they did offer my DH a special order, and I just read someone else's post that they weren't taking them yet, but they did offer it

^ It must be a drought at that time your DH visited!

Did your DH help you to order what you want? I've read from this forum that they don't offer it to anybody.

Hi Queenie - not yet! I think DH wanted to make sure with me first on GHW or PHW, but DH said he can go back, that he and the SA had a nice chat. The SA showed him all of the leather books and everything, and said he should come back and place an order if he wants. I posted a question on special orders in the main section and need to know how VAT and shipping works first since this would be my first intl. AND special order. If I can get my VAT back and have the bag shipped, DH will order my bag straight away! Here's hoping!

Hi Periogirl - I'M GOING TO DO IT! Yippee! I also asked this question in another thread, but does anyone know where I can ship it that I DON'T have to pay customs? I travel a ton for work, but very rarely to France, so I don't mind shipping it to family or friends that I have spread out over the world
