I came across the brand Böle Tannery (or Bole Tannery, depending on your choice of letters on your keyboard ;)) which is the Royal Purveyor to Sweden!

Here is their website: http://www.boletannery.com/

I fell in love with their Shoulder bag and am contemplating to order it... http://shop.boletannery.com/collections/frontpage/products/shoulder-bag

Does anyone of you have experiences with the brand? Any members in the Nordic countries? Would be curious to hear about them and their products.

Hi, I'm the same country but I haven't seen this before. Thanks for posting it.

I think the shoulder bag looks nice and the 15 year warranty sounds promising.

It's interesting that they aren't that big in their own country.

I've read that Harrods sells selected pieces in their luggage department.

Attached are some screenshots from their webshop http://shop.boletannery.com/ to show you their products. And of course the shoulder bag (messenger) that I'm eyeing... ;)

Bumping this to see if anyone on here bought something? I didn't buy the messenger back then, but am considering it again... would love to know how the leather ages. If it gets darker (which I like) and a beautiful patina?

I believe the bags are semi-aniline since they are vegetable tanned which means every water mark, ink mark, stain etc. will absorb into the leather so the dirt spot is hard to remove from the light surface. On the other hand, the leather will age beautifully, rich in patina if you prefer beaten up vintage look. They use reindeer skin which gets scratched easily like lamb skin. The bag needs pampering until the patina is formed after 3-5 years if you wish to avoid the beaten up vintage look.
