Blue plastic on new hardware

I took my Gst in to Bond Street a few weeks ago for new grommets. I needed a new one on the front and one on the back, they also replaced the rings attached to them. I took the blue plastic off the ring on the front but have left it on the back and inside.
I noticed the Minnie on minks 4 all on you tube still has the blue plastic on her grommets from when she bought the bag. This made me curious - does anyone still have the blue plastic on their hardware?

My hubby thought they had out the wrong colour hardware on - but said he liked it that way!

In Canada, select sales associates remove the plastic before they wrap the purse up. I wish they'd keep them on. I am the type of person who would keep the plastic cover until it falls off by itself. Lol.

I'm from Canada too.. no blue sticker on.. no tags as well.. haiskkkkk
