The local Holt Renfrew got a shoes shipment yesterday, most likely for that evening's private shopping event. Among the newbies were pale blue greasepaint simples!

I didn't hear of the private event at Holts? I thought they just had that 25% thing over the weekend?
My SA said they have plenty of sizes in the blue cuz they weren't big sellers. The blue is a light blue....like robin egg blue in grease paint.

It wasn't only Holt's. They're in a building called Manulife Place here. A couple of times a year there's a private shopping event - one before Christmas and one in the spring. For Christmas, there are appetizers and for spring there are desserts.

MPA - I know! I had to resort to several tactics (including the help of a very sweet tpf member) to get these. At first I was a little dissapointed in the blue (expected a darker color) but now am growing to love them. I can think of a lot that I can do with those if spring ever arrives!!!
wow the silver grease paints are stunning.....when will we get these simples in the states??? i seriously don't know what the hold up is. anyone have an update?
