Blue chalcedony care and next purchase

Just dig out this old beauty today.
it has been forgotten in the corner of my jewelry box for a long time but I am falling in love with it all over again.

Can I actually wear this stone in shower or is it going to cause damage?

I am looking into pick up more pieces in blue chalcedony. I have a pair of three motif earring in white MOP + blue Chalcedony+grey MoP.70236BA6-AB0D-456B-B4D6-21D74881CFD2.jpeg



which of the below four should i get?
i like (1) and (4) The most, the length of (1)maybe a little more challenging to pair with different outfit, (4) will be more flexible in adjusting how it sits.

If budget is not option then 4 for sure. It is a versatile piece.

Love your pendant on you. I am one who doesn’t care if the stone is sensitive. It costs $240 per stone to change, and it takes a while to damage. I alternate necklaces, so I’ll wear for a week or 2 before I switch to another necklace and don’t want to be bothered with taking it off every day that I shower. Now if you plan on going to the pool, beach, or wear for more than a couple weeks without taking it off, I wouldn’t suggest that.

Re your choices, I’d choose 2 or 4, only because of the long earrings. All are beautiful choices though. Good luck!

Wow good to know that you can change the stone. That wonderful. I hate taking necklace on and off daily too. But beach and pool for sure.
