Bloomies sent me cheaper, wrong earrings

I ordered diamond roberto coin hoops during the F&F sale last week. When I received my package, they sent me the wrong earrings.

They sent me plain gold roberto coin hoops that were $500. The earrings I ordered were $780. So I called to have a replacement shipped but it was out of stock. So I checked online and saw they went up to $880. I thought maybe since the price increased she didn't want to replace my order for the original sale price of $624.

I called back and spoke with someone else who also said none were showing in the system as in stock however some stores may have it. He ordered me a pair from Boca Raton for the price of $624.

I just checked this morning and they have already credited me back $624 even though I haven't sent my package back yet.

So my question is:
1. Are the plain gold hoops free? They already credited me back on my card even tho I still haven't sent the package back.
2. Will I still be able to send back a store order? Will it be packed with a return label? I have never tried these on and they look like huggies. Sometimes huggies do not fit depending on size and my lobes are somewhat thick. There is no bloomies in my state so I can not return in store.

I attached pics of what I ordered and they earrings they sent in error.

Thanks

Just wait until you get the original earrings you ordered, then send back the plain gold ones. Make sure you get them insured or have Bloomingdales send you a FREE return label so that they will be responsible for the shipping charge.

I agree with this advice. And no, I doubt if Bloomies' intent is to gift you the plain gold earrings.

I was just wondering if any had a similar experience/situation.

The rep didn't say anything about returning them. She just said I would get a refund.

I have other orders from elsewhere that told me to just keep the merchandise and they would send me a replacement. This actually happened a handful of times. I even got a $400 crib bedding for free. So I was just wondering. Not trying to cheat anybody.
