I would go with blue a classic but still a color not a basic black I think you should get the blue !!!!!!

I would go with bleu de prusse. It's a gorgeous color that would work well as a neutral, but still be a bit different at the same time.

Black w/GHW togo is totally classic!! If you must choose only one for now, go with this one. My first H bag is also black w/GHW B30 in togo. I absolutely love it as it goes with everything. Enabling pictures below

If you love the color, get the blue. My first inclination was to say get the black, but I myself don't have a black bag yet, and I do prefer PHW to GHW. Definitely togo over swift.

I just bought my first Birkin a few months ago, and my sa actually said no to black for my first. It's true. Call me crazy, but since 75 percent of all my wardrobe is black, I am glad I have a contrasting color in my bag. I think she had a point. I say no on the black (unless, you are always elegant and formalish) and maybe not even the Blue. Can you wait for a pop color if that is your style or a neutral?
